What is faith or religion? Everyone will respond to it as per one’s perception of it.

But I regard faith as one’s duty. I think that a human being has not one but many duties in his life. He, therefore, has to abide by his duty not in one but various forms, viz., duty towards humanity, duty towards nature, duty towards nation, duty towards family, etc.

I do not subscribe to the view which the so-called religious leaders imply to faith or religion. In that sense, I am neither a follower of any faith or religion nor adhere to it. But that does not mean I oppose any religious person.

I think one’s faith should be in an individual capacity. In other words, it should be: you follow your faith and I my own. Everyone has a right to choose it and should avoid displaying it publicly. Such a perspective notwithstanding, I participate in certain family or an individual religious function only because we are socially connected to each other. Just as I respect other’s faith, I want my faith should also get due respect.
